I am currently a Senior Perception Engineer in Mobile Robotics at Arrival Ltd., making robots see and enabling the next generation of manufacturing using autonomous mobile robots.
Recently, I completed my PhD at the Autonomous Systems Lab at ETH Zurich under the supervision of Roland Siegwart.
My main research focus was to enable robust and large-scale mapping solutions for challenging scenarios, specifically high speed railway environments under vast appearance changes.
During my PhD, I led projects funded by Siemens Mobility on train positioning and Bosch on outdoor mapping where I tackled both hardware and software development, and performed many data collections on trains, trams and in underground mines.
Also, at ASL I was responsible for administering and maintaining many different IT infrastructures to enable efficient research for the whole lab.
I have received my Master's degree in Robotics, Systems and Control in 2017 and Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2014, both from ETH Zurich.
